BART BRYSSE
CO-FOUNDER AND CROSSFIT LEVEL III TRAINER
The first time I heard about CrossFit was almost 10 years ago, on the recommendation of a friend, and I haven’t looked back since.
From the CrossFit methodology, my favorite part includes strength training in general (strength training), specifically Olympic Weightlifting, and my favorite exercise is the snatch.
This part of Olympic Weightlifting is often called “poetry in motion” and requires several skills such as: strength, power, speed, coordination, flexibility, and is a challenge to both body and mind.

SERGIU TOTH
CO-FOUNDER AND CROSSFIT LEVEL III TRAINER
After a good few years in competitive sports, CrossFit felt like the closest sport to that sense of competition and discipline I was used to.
My inclination is towards gymnastics and agility; walking on the hands, the muscle up on the rings being my favorite movements. I think that if we put our body in all kinds of physical situations and strengthen it through exercises with weights (squat, deadlift, press), we will be much more prepared for the challenges of everyday life.

Hi, I’m Rares. Since the first brick laid, I have been part of the Smart Move CrossFit team, a team of people who have the same physical and mental aspirations, to become better every day, where ambition, perseverance and stubbornness to not give up, no they never let me down.
Favorite moves… I think burpees.
The irony of fate is that after a “life” without sports, I started practicing CrossFit, this three years ago, and gradually with many minuses turned into pluses, I ended up becoming a certified CrossFit trainer.

CROSSFIT LEVEL II TRAINER - WEIGHTLIFTING COACH - PN LEVEL 1 NUTRITION COACH
I have been training CrossFit since 2014 and since the beginning of 2017 I have been a trainer at Smart Move CrossFit, both for group classes and personal training, being a continuous opportunity to improve and develop the knowledge in this fitness sport and to forward them further to our members.
My favorite lift is snatch, a weightlifting that can still look pretty graceful by applying a good technique.
I am also adept of a healthy, active and nutritionally balanced lifestyle. Since 2019 I decided to help also other people to find a balance in their nutrition, therefore I completed my passion for this subject by certifying as a Nutrition Coach, in an International recognized nutrition course, and working with dozens of people in changing and improving their perspective and habits about good eating.

VLAD FACHIOL
CROSSFIT LEVEL II TRAINER - WEIGHTLIFTING COACH - TRX TRAINER
My Fitness journey started 13 years ago, somewhat struggling at the time with some weight issues. Quickly, however, a need turned into a way of life. I couldn’t imagine my life now without exercise at least a few times a week and a healthy diet.
After a long period in which I only attended the gym and ran in parallel, I also started participating in trx classes, once they appeared in Cluj, and later I also got a trx trainer certificate.
I first heard about CrossFit back in 2014, and when Smart Move opened its doors, I didn’t hesitate to sign up for Fundamentals, which was their beginner’s program.
Being a fan of the Olympic weightlifting movements, this was also the part I fell in love with from the start. It is and will remain the favorite part, without neglecting the other aspects of CrossFit.
Being a member of the Smart Move community since the beginning, when I was offered the chance to become a coach, and to share with others everything I’ve learned over the last few years, I didn’t hesitate for a second…So here I am.

My journey in sports began with a childhood dream of becoming an athlete. After years of exploring different sports and training methods, I found my true calling in CrossFit in 2016. What started as a challenge quickly became a passion for a more holistic and active lifestyle.
In 2020, I began my CrossFit training, and in 2021, I made the transition to becoming a coach.
My mission is simple: to help people find their own path to a healthy and active life that lasts.

Hi! My name is Lolly and I discovered CrossFit in 2014 when I met these amazing and passionate people doing Crossfit outdoors. Winter or summer, it didn’t matter, we always found a solution to train. What did I do before CrossFit? I did 1 year of cycling and before that, nothing.
The amazing CrossFit journey I’ve had from 2014 to now made me say “Yes, I want to be a CrossFit coach”. So here I am, working out and training at Smart Move Crossfit Cluj-Napoca.
Do I have any regrets? Only I didn’t start the sport earlier! But it’s never too late to start caring about your health and well-being. The glow we feel and have after training is something money can’t buy!

DENISA CIMERDEAN
COACH
I discovered CrossFit in 2015 and since then it has become a part of my daily routine, quickly turning into a hobby and then a passion.
I was involved in sports and taught to maintain a consistent schedule and routine since the age of 8. I have been doing Dance Sport for about 10 years which has helped me develop my discipline, teamwork, coordination, strength, agility and many other aspects that have proven to be very useful in CrossFit and in life.
Olympic lifts are hands down my favorite part of CrossFit. There are other moves that I like to do, like gymnastics moves. While I’m practicing clean & jerk or snatch, I feel like the whole world just shuts down and it’s just me, my mind and the olympic bar… You have to align so many details: technique, agility, physical and mental strength – all in a few seconds, and that’s what makes it beautiful.
A few months ago I accepted the challenge to be part of the Smart Move Team as a coach and I am happy to have the opportunity to teach and influence people to come to love this sport as I did.
Besides CrossFit and Weightlifting, I enjoy relaxing with a good book, a great hike, dancing, listening to music, traveling and discovering what the world has to offer…
I work full time as a mechanical engineer. I am the Team Leader of the Occupant Safety department, where we study and optimize the behavior of a vehicle structure in the event of a collision, providing optimal safety for vehicle occupants. Being at the office all day made me look for an activity that would counteract the problems that could develop over time, having a sedentary work day. I tried different activities, and through a friend’s recommendation, I found CrossFit and hope to be able to practice it for many years to come.

MAXIM ENI
CROSSFIT LEVEL 1 TRAINER
I heard about CrossFit in 2017, but it took me a while to try it. So in 2020 I started my CrossFit journey and it’s been a beautiful one so far!
The main reason I started doing CrossFit is that it offers a wide range of exercises that help you develop functional skills for your body so that it can perform everyday physical tasks. Definitely another reason I like it is the community around it.
I admire people who choose to be better every day and push their limits to become a better version of themselves.
My favorite movements are gymnastics and those that require long-term endurance. After two years of CrossFit, I decided to become a coach so I can help and guide other people on their CrossFit journey. I recommend CrossFit to everyone who wants to start their journey in the world of sports.
It is practicable for people who have never exercised before and are keen to improve their physical and mental health.

Hi, I’m Ramona!
I’ve always loved being active – I started with swimming and going to the gym, but then I wanted something different, more challenging – that’s how I discovered CrossFit and Smart Move, about a year ago.
Here I found people who have the same passion for sports as I do, an active lifestyle and who challenge themselves and each other to become better every day.
Attending classes and learning a lot of new moves, I started to like CrossFit more and more and now as a coach here I have the opportunity to share my passion for the sport with others.
If I had to pick a favorite move, I would say Wall Balls because… I love cardio, so much!

Alex Gălă
CROSSFIT LEVEL 1 TRAINER
Hello, I’m Gala, passionate about crossfit, fascinated by human anatomy, and lover of nature! My first contact with crossfit was in 2021, while I was studying physical therapy, when I discovered how much potential the human body has.
Crossfit for me is a fitness program that rewards the effort made in the gym, with the ability to express the mortal qualities acquired in everyday life, in any activity you could imagine.
I am incredibly delighted to be part of a community full of fine people, who work hard and pursue a single goal, namely to lead a life as healthy and full of vitality as possible.
Regarding the exercises I prefer, I could say that I like most of them, but the ones I have a greater inclination towards are the cardio ones (double unders, run, burpees).
My goal is to make people watch this sport with the same love as I do.

Sergiu Olteanu

I’ve been practicing CrossFit since 2017 and I started my journey in this sport from the time when Bart and Sergiu were training on the weekends, outdoors. There I had contact for the first time with this kind of sport. From the beginning I liked the idea of dynamic and diverse training.
Why do I practice this sport? Because it develops you both in terms of physical conditioning, body functionality, muscle development, as well as mentally.
I also liked the idea of community, meeting people who share the same passion as you, who are willing to push their limits every time they step into the gym.
I could say that I have several favorite movements, considering that this sport has a wide range of movements, but one that is among my favorites is rowing. I love that it’s a movement that works your whole body, teaches you how to coordinate it, and last but not least, it burns a lot of calories.
I see this sport as a lifestyle, it is part of my daily routine and I intend to do this until my body says stop.

Mihai Harsan

My adventure in the beautiful world of CrossFit began in 2020 when I felt the need for a change, because conventional training could no longer keep me motivated. In the same year I also discovered mountain running which, to my amazement, could be combined very harmoniously with CrossFit training.
I believe that this sport can be practiced by anyone, because it has real benefits in maintaining physical and mental health, and most importantly, it helps you develop a fully functional body, thus managing to go through life’s daily challenges much more easily.
Starting from May 2023, I started to be part of the Smart Move family of trainers, where I found very dedicated people whose main objective is to help as many people as possible to discover pleasure in physical activity and to reap all the benefits preceding this activity.

Erzso Jeneier

I have always enjoyed sports activities and have been involved in sports from a young age trying different types of sports over the years such as: handball, swimming, ballet, athletics, kickboxing.
In 2016 I started participating in aerobics classes and in 2017 I contacted the gym practicing fitness. In 2022 I graduated from a personal trainer course. A few months later I discovered CrossFit at Smart Move CrossFit. Being a spontaneous, fighting, energetic nature already after the first few trainings I fell in love with this sport. I got a chance to join a team of professional and dedicated people in 2023 and I’m happy to be a part of it and help people achieve their sporting goals.
What do I like most about Smart Move?
The fact that we are a community of people with the same underlying passion, trying to become better and better at what they do.
